I'm such a proud Auntie

I just had to post this amazing picture that I have of my two gorgeous nieces, Poppy who is coming up to 2 in August and Honey who is just about 3 months. They are the most wonderful little people and make me such a proud Auntie!

Tag - I'm It!

I used to hate Tag at school but I have been blog tagged which means I have been set the challenge to reveal 7 things about myself and then in turn tag 7 fellow bloggers. Hmm, here goes:

1) I have a mole in the back of my eyeball which kind of freaks me out

2) The smell of onions can set off a migraine and I can smell them from a fair distance

3) I have a 2ft Tigger, Pooh, Piglet and Eeyore cuddlies

4) I am scared by horror movies - why do we need to see all that gore and blood?

5) I sing at the top of my voice in the car, often to songs from musicals

6) I generally eat sweets in pairs, especially tictac mints

7) I'm an obsessive neat freak! When I was in primary school, my teached used to let me tidy her desk

Now, the seven people I tag are:

My Magic Me
Daisy Lee Designs
HDawnParratt
Spirit Dance
The Soap Seduction
NC TeddyBear Lady
Haffina Creations

Handmade News

Handmade News is published by Artfire and is the news of the handmade world or the crafts that are in that world. The News is broken down into numerous categories including craft techniques, business tips, marketing, kids crafts, inspiration and greenwise.

I think the facility to read a Handmade 'Newspaper' is great, I have certainly learnt so much about setting up a business, marketing tips and so much more beyond that. Where else would I learn how to work with twitter, how to increase customer loyalty, how to make a DIY foot scrub or just have some daily inspiration.

I had added excitement this weekend, I was checking the articles and see one of my cards as the lead image - one of MY cards!!!! I must thank the wonderful Haffina Creations for thinking my little thank you card was suitable to use!
